with great pleasure that the executive board of Rape
Wise South Africa is able to announce that John
Buswell has agreed to join Rape Wise on a full
time basis and that he has resigned all of his
other external commitments.
As we
launch our Platinum programme for 2012, John has
requested that each province be allocated an equal
number of Platinum spots.
Rape Wise is proud to announce our all new
audio and visual
presentations; we have presented these presentations
as a pilot project across the county and have had
positive feedback from teachers, parents and students.

Platinum 2012 participation is
therefore limited and will be strictly allocated on a
first come first serve basis.

cost of the 2012 programme is R 5 500.00 and
schools paying now will receive an R500.00
early payment discount. (This payment includes
all airfares and accommodation)
This discount is applicable
until the end of October 2011.
Following our educators training needs survey earlier
this year; we have added some exciting additional
training topics. (See attached list)

About
Rape Wise
Rape Wise
was established in January 2000. As an organisation,
we aim to educate children, teenagers, parents and
educators about the dangers that face our youth in
South Africa today. Rape Wise assists with the
development of Rape Crisis centres throughout South
Africa and offers a 24hr helpline. Through on-going
workshops and programs such as the Rapteens, Rapkids
and ParenTeen, we also aim to foster a caring
community around the issues of sexual assault and
other youth issues.
