Question: At what age is it legal to get married in South Africa and at what age is it legal to have intercourse?

Question: If it is law to report under age sex, do the abortion clinics report under age sex, even if it is legal to have abortions at 12 years of age?

 

Our Answers: Abortions clinics are obligated to report, but in actual practice very few clinics follow correct procedures.

I would like to give a huge thank you to Mr Buswell for the talk given to us at Kingsridge High School for girls today. Never have I had an adult speak so openly about issues that affected teenagers. Usually, all you hear is how teenagers prefer to go around galavanting & never about how these may actually be issues of even deeper problems. We were told about how drugs are bad for us & I have a boyfriend who smokes dagga & drinks alcohol at controlled levels but I felt that this could get out of hand at any point & have therefore decided to discuss that matter before it had any regrettable consequences for us, some even fatal.

Many thanks to Mr John Buswell for the beautiful talk & I encourage him to continue with the work he is doing in order to empower children all over the world.
